13 communities with diverse ideas have joined as partners in Tartu World University project that brings together researchers and communities of South Estonia. These communities organise events in 2023 and 2024 in various locations in South Estonia as a part of the European Capital of Culture Tartu 2024 programme.
It is a preliminary programme that may be changed and will be completed gradually!
April-May 2024 Series of conversation dates introducing heritage themes (Viljandi)
19 May 2024 Peipsiääre community festival "Bridges"
19–20 July 2024 Kanepi Festival, Hemp Conference (Kanepi village)
9-10 August 2024 a discussion on education at the Paide Opinion Festival organized by the Centre for Ethics of the University of Tartu
26–27 July 2024 Conference of the Estonian Movement and Wellbeing Festival (Elva town)
October 2024 Concluding conference of Tartu World University
